Floor Levelling

Precision levelling to create flat, even substrates for any flooring system using self-levelling compounds and laser-guided techniques.

Uneven floors cause problems for coatings, tiles, and finished flooring. Dips and high spots lead to visible undulation, coating pooling, and tile lippage that compromise both appearance and performance.

We use self-levelling compounds and precision screeding techniques to correct falls, dips, and high spots, creating a perfectly flat substrate. Feather-edge applications from just 2 mm through to deep-fill solutions accommodate a wide range of levelling requirements.

Laser-guided levelling ensures accuracy across large floor areas. Fast-curing options minimise project delays on time-critical programmes. Accurate levelling is the foundation of every quality flooring installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How flat does the floor need to be?
The required flatness depends on your final floor finish. Resin coatings and polished concrete need tight tolerances (SR1 or SR2 to AS 1884). Tiles and vinyl are more tolerant of minor variation. We survey your floor and specify the levelling system needed to achieve the correct standard.
Can self-levelling compound fix large dips?
Self-levelling compounds are effective for levelling from feather-edge (around 2 mm) up to approximately 30 to 40 mm in a single pour. For deeper corrections, multiple pours or sand-extended compounds are used. Very large dips may require a structural screed.
How quickly can the levelled floor be coated?
Fast-curing self-levelling compounds are walkable in 2 to 4 hours and ready for coatings or overlays within 16 to 24 hours depending on the product and ambient conditions.
